The value of good manners as a tool for personal growth and social cohesion will be the focus of a meeting on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Pievepelago Municipal Library (Piazza Vittorio Veneto 17).

The event will feature the presentation of the book GALATEO: Rinascita Sociale (Etiquette: Social Rebirth), written by Yuliya and Alesia Savitskaya and published by the Salviamo la Cultura Association.

The book offers a timely reflection on the concept of contemporary etiquette—viewed not merely as a set of formal rules, but as a genuine “technique” for respectful behavior. It serves as a practical tool for personal growth and for improving the quality of relationships in daily life, politics, and the business world.

Riccardo Sandri, a scholar and expert on Templar rules, draws a connection between etiquette and the Templar tradition, noting that both share the same roots: discipline, respect, honor, and service to others.

While etiquette acts as the “technique” for living harmoniously within modern relationships, the Templar tradition represents its ethical and historical foundation.

For this reason, Mr. Riccardo Sandri of the Jacques de Molay Templar Order has chosen to support the presentation of Galateo: Rinascita Sociale—a book that speaks of rebirth precisely through a return to fundamental values of behavior and coexistence.

Yuliya and Alesia Savitskaya have been working on the subject of etiquette for over 20 years; they are the authors and founders of “La Casa Savitskaya per Galateo.”

The event is open to the public. Admission is free, subject to seating availability.
